1m+ views on 8 videos: exposing what I did
the numbers behind all my viral videos
I’ve gotten millions of views on my videos across different niches.
Today I’m gonna share my honest thoughts and learnings with you -
Including screenshots from each viral post.

These are my honest thoughts from experience -
From many, many failed videos
(Some got 0 views…like how…).
My hot take is that people try to sell you the secret recipe for virality,
But the real secret is just consistency.
(Which is what I teach in all my courses. 30 posts in 30 days.)
Sure, there are ways to increase your chances of success (hook testing).
But some of it is just luck.
And consistency increases your surface area for luck.
Case in point: I reposted my viral 3m+ video from 2023 2 times…
Each time, they did ~200k views. Nowhere close to 3m.
Productivity niche: 3-4m views on Instagram
When did I gain more followers?
Showing my “system” (not just a one-time template like friendship spreadsheet)
Educating (not just entertaining - entertainment videos gained less followers, like the presentation + bagel videos)
CTA being a free template (this was before I made a course)
HOWEVER, follows can be a vanity metric.
If you want to see how much $ I actually made from my products, check out my revenue here and my conversion rates here.
The % are conversion rate from view to follow (follows / total views).

0.01% view to follow conversion rate from a bagel video lol
Education niche: 900k+ views on TikTok
Observations
The highest view to follow conversion rate videos were scaled into ads (we remade a bunch of videos with the same hooks)
I posted up to 5x a day for 3 months, gave up, tried again for another 3 months, then went viral
Sometimes comments inspired more videos (30k+ views)
Sharing my authentic transformation journey (how I learned data analysis in 6 weeks) performed WAY better than “this is how you can learn”

Personal brand: 1m+ views on TikTok
Observations
Lowest view-to-follow conversion rate - probably because my profile and previous posts showed a personal account (no clear niche or benefit to following)
Even if there’s a good hook and transformation story, it doesn’t covert to followers if the rest of your account (bio + previous videos) don’t show a clear benefit to following
None of the videos have a clear CTA (call-to-action)
This is why it’s so important to post consistently - because when a video goes viral, people will stalk the rest of your videos to see if they learn anything.
If they find your videos valuable, they’ll follow you and hopefully eventually purchase from you.
Sometimes people don’t follow me but sign up for my email list…so another reason to collect emails (you don’t even need to send emails yet, just collect them).

Key takeaways
Post valuable content consistently
Optimize your bio to give people a reason to follow (see below)
Start an email list (it can literally be a Google Form to collect emails)

Til next week,
