- why i gave up on my goal
why i gave up on my goal
learnings from failure
I set a goal earlier this quarter:
To improve my funnel.
But I made this key mistake - which led me to give up.
(And I see many people make this same mistake.)

How I used to work
I had a very grindset mindset 😅
Planned 947 things to get done this week.
Then I got overwhelmed and felt disappointed in myself when I couldn’t get it all done.
But I didn’t set myself up for success…
My mistakes
Didn’t set a measurable goal (fix funnel - but how will I know if it’s “fixed?”)
Didn’t break the goal down into monthly and weekly milestones
Stopped making progress daily
I overcomplicated things - it felt overwhelming, like I didn’t know where to start (because I planned too much for myself)
So if I were to redo my quarterly goal + systems, it’d look like this:
Measurable quarterly goal: increase conversion rate (IG post view to course purchase) from 0.05% to 1%
Monthly milestone: increase landing page conversion rate from 1% to 2%
Weekly milestone (example for 1 week): completed new landing page
Daily habit: complete a section of the landing page
Minimum viable action (for when I’m too busy or tired that day): spend at least 5 min making progress on landing page
That way, there’s a clear reward for me to stay consistent and focused -
Because I’m curious whether I’ll hit specific numbers (and how far I can get).
How would you apply this to your business?
