update: $10k course launch coaching group
how the project is going
On Aug 18, I started a new project:
A group of ADHD content creators aiming to hit $10k in our courses.
Our biggest learning so far surprised me…
(I also realized something interesting about ADHD brains + my coaching style…)

my coaching client hahaha
Week by week timeline
So far we have 2 courses launched, 2 pending.
Aug 18: intro + project kickoff
Aug 25: marketing + user research
Sept 5: course structure
⭐ Sept 8: enrollments closed for my course after 1 week of launch ($6k revenue; but Sept was a $10k month overall)
Sept 13: course scripts
Sept 19: course promo + review
Sept 27: sales page
Oct 4: launch messaging
⭐ Oct 9: enrollments closed for one of my students’ courses after 1 week of launch (her biggest learning below)
⭐ Oct 10: my student hosted her first lesson and her students stayed for an extra 30 min 🥺 because they were so engaged 🥰
Oct 11: launch prep + review
Biggest learning
It’s not about your audience, offer, or niche.
You think you’re struggling to hit $10k because you:
Don’t have a big enough audience
Don’t have enough experience
Don’t have a strong offer
Don’t have the “right” niche
But the reality is, it’s a mindset thing.
Even my coach noticed it.
He asked me: “Why are you charging so little for your course?”
I told him, “I can’t charge more.”
He asked, “Why?”
Then I realized…I’m the one blocking myself from earning more.
Once I made the decision to earn more,
I realized there were things I could do:
Improve my messaging and positioning
Feeling more confident about selling
Adding more compelling bonuses
Having an easier payment process
When before, I was just stuck at telling myself no,
Instead of solving my own problems.
When you challenge your limiting beliefs, your reality literally changes.

also my coaching client 🥺
The thing about ADHD content creators
We feel a lot of guilt and shame.
Each one of us ADHD creators had busy lives:
Moving
Traveling
Just being overwhelmed with stuff in general
So when we fall behind schedule, we feel:
Like we want to hide and avoid things (hence why we procrastinate)
Overwhelmed with having a lot of catch-up work to do
Not worthy - especially when we compare ourselves to others
Like starting over from scratch / reinventing ourselves / doing a reset
So it’s not helpful if a coach tells you that you need to do more…
Because you’re already beating yourself up so much
That you have no energy to do more (even if you really want to).
But I truly believe if you give people enough encouragement and inspiration,
They’ll surprise you.
![]() this feedback made me tear up 🥺 | ![]() |
My experience with what works (in coaching and life tbh)
I don’t get motivated by punishment
(I already punish myself enough in my head).
When a coach tells me:
Do this or you’ll be kicked out of the program
Do this or you’ll pay a fine (rip the amount of $ I spent bc I forgot things…the ADHD tax)
Listen to me, I’ll tell you what to do
It doesn’t really work for me.
But in the last few weeks, I’ve seen how motivated people can be when:
You put them in a group where they’re inspired by what others are doing (making valuable courses + beautiful sales pages)
You reward them and focus on their strengths, not weaknesses
You co-create clear, simple systems that work for them, instead of trying to get them to do something everyone else does
You ask them engaging questions so they feel ownership over the process, not just being told what to do
So when people ask me how I’m so disciplined and work so hard,
I tell them that it’s not really discipline for me or my students.
It’s fun.
And that’s how my most successful students are so consistent 🫶
(They told me they stayed up til 3am to work on their courses bc they got into that flow state haha.)

How was today's email? |
