I have a confession…

I feel like I’ve made 0 progress in my business.

Because I’ve been stuck asking questions like these:

“What’s the best tool to use?”

“What do other creators have that I don’t?”

“How do I even start with this?”

But I realized…

It’s not about asking “what” or “how” -

But asking “why.”

Introducing: decision log

Every time I get stuck, I run it through my decision log.

It helps me ask better, deeper questions -

Looking at the broader picture.

Examples:

• Is this easily reversible?

• Why does this matter?

• What is the underlying need or value that this would help with?

• What is the clear end goal? Break it down into milestones (non-technical).

• What’s the opportunity cost (are there hidden creative solutions I’m missing)?

• What would a successful Jen do? Any factors she’d consider?

• Contrast: what do I NOT want?

• If I fail, what would I do?

• Am I considering this due to fear? Or excitement?
