Surprising learnings from launching a high-ticket program

$2,000+ group coaching

In partnership with

I launched the ADHD Content System program ($2,000) in 1 week.

Here are my biggest lessons (+ creator workspace Notion template for premium subscribers).

Summary: Focus on the problem and (emotional) transformation over features and benefits.

Learning 1: send more emails - but send them your way

I felt kinda bad about spamming emails to promote my offer.

But I reframed it:

If you have something you know can help others, you wouldn’t feel bad sharing it, right?

So I sent this email to make it easier to send daily emails:

Here’s how it impacted my subscriber list:

Not too bad, in my opinion -

It just made sure the people who stay on my list are the ones who get the most benefits from it.

And I even got this email reply:

Learning 2: have a clear vision and stick to it

I focused too much on busywork:

I spent hours writing posts for social media, thinking that’s what I was supposed to do.

In reality, what had a bigger impact was DMs -

Actually talking to people who were interested, to see if I could help them.

I was surprised I already knew most of the people who purchased my program.

For some reason, I expected them to be complete strangers.

If I had to do the launch again, I’d spend more time in DMs to really understand what people are struggling with.

Learning 3: focus on the problem and transformation

All my marketing messaging focused on benefits.

“Here’s what you get in the program! Great value for your investment, right?”

But I should’ve focused more on problems and transformation.

“If you’re struggling with posting consistently every day…”

“Imagine knowing what simple actions to take every day to grow.”
