Millionaire case study: how this funnel sucked me in with just $1

Most people spend at least an hour a day on social media.

I’m one of those people.

I saw a useful video YouTube recommended to me.

YouTube video → $1 product

After watching it, I watched some other useful videos before getting pitched this $1 step by step plan (which I still haven’t gotten around to using).

In the comments, people shared how much they loved the $1 offer.

Because trusting someone with $1 means you’re willing to trust them with more in the future.

$1 purchase → $27 upsell

After purchasing, I was shown an upsell page.

The fact that it was discounted (and available only in the moment after I purchased the $1 product) made it more compelling to buy.

Email → webinar

Since I gave my email when purchasing, the creator (Modern Millie) invited me to a webinar, where she built trust and sold higher ticket products.

Let’s do the math

Her videos get millions of views.

Assuming 5% of 2 million viewers purchase the $1 product, that’s 100,000 people (or $100,000).

Assuming 2% of those people purchase the upsell, that’s 2,000 people (or $54,000).

I’m not sure how much her high ticket products are or how many people converted, but she’s said her business made her a millionaire.
