$356.50 revenue

Okay lowkey after looking at these numbers, the conversion rates aren’t bad.
If I went viral, I’m pretty sure I would’ve made thousands (esp if the viral video was related to the product).
Actually - I did go viral…but more on that later.
Feb 2026 revenue
I made $6,462.61 USD this month.
I spent 109.5 hours working (3.9 hours a day), making my hourly rate $59.

contract work = coaching UGC creators (many, many 1:1 calls)
I posted 245 times across all platforms, leading to 2.41m views (most from YouTube, where I went viral).
While I gained followers overall, I lose followers on IG every day (my creator friends also say they lose followers daily).

Reflecting on these numbers, I automatically think:
Many creators I know (and coach) are “ahead” of me, making $10k+ or getting 20m+ views
One creator I coached hit 10k followers and she started her account mid-Jan
Meanwhile I lose followers daily 😅
I “should” be making more, doing more - I could’ve done a proper launch or done high ticket or something that I posted more about to get more views
Maybe if I went the traditional route (worked a corporate job), I’d make way more than $59 an hour and have benefits (rip me paying for insurance)
But then I vibe check myself:
I’m on my own path - it’s no use comparing. I know I’ll hate doing UGC work / focusing on growth and sponsors, and I know I have to build up my confidence to sell high ticket stuff
Thinking back on my month, I actually enjoyed it a lot bc I spent lots of quality time with loved ones. It’s not all about money or views
Focusing so much on working harder and working more is not my style, I prefer trusting the process. Usually if I just follow my natural energy and feel aligned, I make more money anyway
These vibe checks also happened on a group call I hosted.
I got together a bunch of creators (2k - 200k+ followers), and my main takeaway was that no one (except you and maybe potential sponsors) notices your view or follow count drop.
One of the creators lost 10k followers and no one else on the call noticed that except for her.
Also, you never really know what opportunities are out there cuz I’ve had sponsors tell me they don’t care about view counts sometimes:

Coaching creators to 31m views

Key learnings from top performing vids:
LOOK AT YOUR RETENTION GRAPHS!! It’s how you know which parts of your video to swap out and test (try new clips, new hooks, etc.)
Strong storytelling makes such a big difference (not just the hook but the lead-in and payoff too). How tho?
Big contrast (before/after)
Curiosity gap (really good hook and buildup so ppl wanna watch more)
Comment-able things (funny stuff shown on screen, things people will debate about in the comments)
Emotionally charged (happy or sad or angry) → big payoff
Test hooks!!! Pairing different text hooks with different clips can make a huge difference
How much YouTube paid me for 3.2m views
My channel was stuck at 13k subs.
Overnight, 2 of my vids hit 1m+ and I jumped to 15k subs.
Made 0 product sales tho cuz the vids were not really related to my niche or products.

Note: while all my business stuff is in USD, my YouTube data is in CAD
YouTube paid 3.2m views = $300…
That’s ~$100 per 1m views.
UGC programs usually pay $1,000 per 1m views (that’s $1 CPM, or it costs $1 for each 1,000 views).
Remember the data I shared about my 3 day reset program, my low ticket offer ($50)?
My own products paid 27,804 views = $350.
Meanwhile, last year, someone told me they paid me $2,000 bc of a video that had less than 200 views.
Key takeaways
When I look at the numbers here, it’s clear that I shouldn’t focus that much on views.
My blocker tends to me more internal - my limiting beliefs and fears around selling.
If I was more confident, I’d:
Send more promotional emails
Share my offers more, really dialling in on the best messaging to show people how it can help them
Make more $ as a result
But here’s how it goes instead:
Send a few emails or make a few posts
Low views
Get discouraged
Fear that I’m bothering people even tho I know I can help them
Stop promoting because I’m scared
Make less $
Well…I just invested $10k USD in a program to help me with all these doubts 😅
Will update you on how it goes!

Jennifer
