behind the scenes: 3 day reset course

the messy process of everything i did

In partnership with

I’m launching something new…

Doing a reset challenge had been floating around my head for almost a year now, but I never took action until now.

Here’s everything I did to launch, in case you want to launch a course in the future.

Where Expertise Becomes a Real Business

Kajabi was built for people with earned expertise. Coaches, educators, practitioners, and creators who developed their wisdom through real work and real outcomes.

In a world drowning in AI-generated noise, trust is the new currency. Trust requires proof, credibility, and a system that amplifies your impact.

Kajabi Heroes have generated more than $10 billion in revenue. Not through gimmicks or hype, but through a unified platform designed to scale human expertise.

One place for your products, brand, audience, payments, and marketing. One system that helps you know what to do next.

Turn your experience into real income. Build a business with clarity and confidence.

Kajabi is where real experts grow.

First: how this fits into my product ecosystem

Usually I launch things randomly with no strategy 😅

This time, I had a specific intention with this 3 day reset (5 videos total):

It would be the entry offer.

Maybe this is me playing in my comfort zone (too scared to charge high ticket prices).

But feeling safe with charging $50 for a course still serves me -

It allows me to fulfill my mission of helping as many people as possible.

So here’s what I’m envisioning people to do:

  1. Sign up for my email list from a freebie (Notion template)

  2. Purchase a low-ticket product (3 day reset)

  3. Purchase the full life tracking course

  4. Upgrade to group coaching (mainly for business owners)

Some creators skip all the steps and go directly to the coaching part.

But I already made all the freebies and stuff so this makes sense for me haha.

Step 1: planning

The course outlines were the easy part - I already had the main ideas in my mind.

I start every course by focusing on problems people have, then the videos focus on how to solve them.

The problems were:

  1. Negative self-talk - constantly feeling like a failure

  2. Poor systems - everything scattered and disorganized

  3. People pleasing - inability to say no to more work

From there, each script followed a simple formula:

  • Hook (usually a story)

  • Lesson

  • Summary

Step 2: creating

Filming was super fun and easy - I did it all in 1 day.

Creating the templates were fun too, even though I kinda lost momentum taking the weekend off.

Last time I made a course, I vlogged the process.

This time, when I tried the same, they didn’t get many views…

I haven’t been innovating with my content in a while (hence the views being down), so maybe that’s why.

As social media platforms changed, I should’ve focused more on iterating my hooks to be more interesting rather than putting out a low-effort video.

Step 3: admin

This was the bane of my existence.

the automations in the back end

I should’ve delegated this work and focused more on video creation to promote the course.

This list only took me 4 hours to do, but I procrastinated it for a whole week 😩 and it was so painful for me to do.

I have even more admin work ahead of me (fixing up the life tracking course automations and stuff) but that’s a headache for another day.

Step 4: measuring goals

In the past, I was the worst at this. I wouldn’t set a clear goal for how many students I wanted - I just went on vibes of what felt best.

This time, though, I wanted 1,000 students 🤯

Not sure how possible it is, but I’ll be trying my best!

I’ll report back with the key numbers in a week or two.

Stay tuned!
