That’s how long the layoff call was 😅

I remember thinking “wow…I finally have time to launch my course now.”

Here’s what happened when I did…

I used to make $6,000 CAD a month

But when I launched my course,

I made $6,000 in one day 🤯

I think this rewired my brain - I realized that the “normal” rules don’t apply when I have my own business.

And I was doing all the same things as I would for a company (having worked in education for 7 years):

• Creating a course

• Marketing a course

Except this time, the difference was…I kept 100% of the profits.

(Did capitalism go so far with me it went the other way around like money goes back to the worker - me lol???)

I want to teach other content creators how to do the same -

Because my vision for the world is that we all have businesses and buy from each other,

Instead of buying from big companies that don’t really care about us.

Before I had a course, I was:

• Hopping on calls all the time

• Tempted to take sponsors that didn’t align with my values - just for some income stability

• Feeling guilty whenever I relaxed because I should “be more productive”

After my course, I could:

• See how my students’ lives changed in 30 days - without me spending months hopping on 1:1 calls with hundreds of people

• Travel and spend time with friends without needing to be stuck in meetings

• Take a few months off to explore hobbies I enjoyed, because I already made enough money with my last course launch
